Amber’s an entrepreneurial executive with over 20 years of experience in marketing, sales, design and product leadership. She’s built and led global, interdisciplinary teams that have delivered awardwinning customer experiences for many top brands, including Nike, Starbucks, DIRECTV, Electronic Arts, Nintendo and Microsoft.
At 22, Amber founded a NYCbased advertising agency and ran it profitably for 8 years before it was acquired. She went on to work for two of the world’s largest global interactive agencies where she managed multimillion dollar P&Ls, and oversaw teams of more than 100 people. Most recently, she served as Dean of Digital Design, and then Sr. Director of Marketing & Sales at VFS, a prestigious postgraduate visual arts school, where she was responsible for a $48 million pipeline. Most recently, Amber was Sr. Vice President of Marketing & Sales for Violet Grey, a luxury retail company where she managed all aspects of the customer lifecycle. She now sits on the Advisory Board of THNK – The School of Creative Leadership.
Over the past four years, Amber has also served as a Board Member for a trinational incubator, TechBA, shepherding numerous tech and entertainment startups successfully through acceleration to launch. She has a passion for designled innovation, human centered design, lean product development and openinnovation. In her role as a THNK Advisory Board Member, Amber truly believes in THNK’s mission and seeks to affect real change by leveraging innovation, technology and communities to tackle pressing global challenges.
